An RPG style game (ie; 2D Zelda) with SpriteKits

I understand SpriteKits are a huge portion of Swift and I’ll be taking a more in-depth look during my courses next semester, however, it’d be cool to walk through one of your guides with SpriteKits in the form of developing an RPG style game. It could simply involve a character with a health and magic bar, have two basic weapons to pick up & drop, and feature attacks (melee/range) that do damage to monsters with health bars. All of this would be in a small ‘world’ environment.

Just an idea I thought would be super fun/engaging to go through!


SpriteKit has been on my list for the longest times. I’d love to get into it. Thanks for giving this a vote!
