Hey everyone, my name is Danut and this is the beginning of my capstone project for the Launch Your First App program.

My background is in Engineering where i have a bachelor’s degree and I’ve been learning iOS for about a year.

Ultimately, my goal for learning iOS development is to learn how to make my own apps and to get a job as a junior iOS developer along the way.

I’m looking forward to updating this project log as I progress to completing my capstone project!

I need help finding an app idea. I would appreciate if someone could point me in the right direction.

When considering an App it’s best to look at what you see as a need and then develop something around satisfying that need.

I decided to build a expense tracker app. The MVP requirements are listed below:

  • Add and Edit expenses
  • Delete expenses
  • Sort expenses
  • Filter expenses
