I am considering taking the Database course to work on API and backend skills but before buying the course, I need to know if Chris teaches it programmatically or with storyboards. I do not use storyboards and therefore would much prefer a course without it. Does he use them in this course?

What you could do, for an extra challenge is do the course programmatically. While he does it in storyboards.
Storyboards vs programmatic don’t really matter. They’re just a means of building a UI. You’ll still learn the database aspects that you want
