I just started and am trying to download Xcode but can’t seem to figure it out with Windows. I’m not quite sure if I am being stupid and missing something obvious or you actually can’t do it. Is there a way to download the mac store on windows? Is there a version of Xcode for windows?

Xcode runs exclusively on a Mac.
You are better off to get yourself a Mac but if you want to pursue running Xcode on a Windows platform then have a look at this video.
