Embed in Stack View Button Disabled

I was watching the tutorial “Your First User Interface Lesson 4”. At one point in the video, Chris asks you to put both the ‘deal button’ and the ‘horizontal stack view’ in another stack view by pressing ‘embed in stack view’.

For some reason when I do this the ‘embed in stack view’ is disabled. I saw some other people in the comment section ran into this issue but got no answer.

Does anyone know why I’m running into this issue?

I now realize I completely misread the menu and it was indeed enabled… it was embedded in view controller that was disabled.
