Hi everyone, my name is Garret and this is the beginning of my capstone project for the Launch Your First App program.
I am a pilot who spends too much time in hotel rooms so have been learning iOS to challenge myself. I have been learning iOS for about two months now and my goal for learning iOS development is to have the knowledge and ability to make my own apps.
I look forward to updating the project log as I progress on my project.
I do not want to focus on amount of users downloading my app/future apps so rather than have the goal of building 10 apps, my goal to build an app or apps that I want to use.
I would still like to keep it simple but I want to put the features I want to use into it so it maybe less simple than a first app should be.
My app idea is to create an app to assist me in the kitchen. I make a lot of food, much of it from scratch. I believe I can make an app which can do a better job of meal planning, prepping, and cooking. Although I can obviously expand on it in many different directions, these are my main requirements that I want to built to start.
