Hiding buttons when device is connected to a tv with Apple hdmi adapter

Hi All,

I’ve made my app and when I connect my iPad the app is running on to a tv using the Apple hdmi adapter I would like to hide some buttons that the app shows on the tv but not hide them on the iPad.

Is this possible at all?
