I started a new project and I named it Document Menu (don’t as why) but I am getting a error code for the preview. I’m not sure why this has happened Im hoping someone could help please.

Hi Andrew,

I’ve been away for a while.

On the face of it that looks OK. I’m curious to know if there is any issue with the name you have given the App. Can you create a new App but name it without any spaces. ie: DocumentMenu and let’s see if that makes any difference. What version of Xcode are you using? I’m presuming 15.4 since that’s the latest although any version of Xcode 15.x should be fine.

Hey I did as you told me here is the Screenshot it’s still the same. As for the version It’s Xcode 15.4 Im not really sure why this error code is happening.

I suspect there is something wrong with the Xcode installation.

My suggestion is that you delete Xcode from your Applications folder (it will ask you for your Mac password)

Download it again from the App Store and allow the installation to complete.
Then reboot your Mac
Open Xcode and when the selection box comes up for the simulators you want to add (the Mac simulator is provided by default) select iOS and wait for that to finish installing. It’s about 7Gb so go make a coffee while that is installing.
When it completes close Xcode and reboot your Mac again.
Open Xcode and the open that project you created and see if the issue has now resolved itself.

I had a similar issue. One day I opened my projects and none of the previews worked. I didn’t know how and why that happened. I tried reinstalling Xcode and restarting my Mac and even tried to create a new project but nothing worked. I’m also on the latest version of Xcode. Did you find any solutions?
