It should run OK with macOS Big Sur and Xcode 13. 16Gb of RAM would certainly be better than 8Gb but that’s what you’ve got.

How much free HD space do you have?

What version ios is your iPhone 7? And what is the minimum deployment target for your Xcode project?

iOS 15 and deployment target in xcode is 12

I just looked at your screenshot, this looks like a test project. If you create a brand new project and set the deployment target to iOS 12, does the same thing happen?
