Local Notification Content Extension

Hello all! I have a question. Using local notifications I would like to show a complete bible verse. Sometimes this is six or seven lines of text. If I make the content. body text the seven lines it only displays two lines and … Is there a way to make the notification display window show the entire verse? Is using the Notification Content Extension the way to go?

Can anyone give me an example?

As far as I know since iOS 7 the character limit is 235. Which is about 7-8 lines. Notification Content Extension just lets you customize the notification by like adding an image to it. It won’t let you show more than 235 characters.
