Hi,
I searched a tutorial for displaying ads within my app. Unfortunately, I didn’t find a video on CWC+.
Could this maybe be a topic for a future CWC+ video?

This is my opinion regarding ads and I offer this from a user perspective. I should also point out that I am not speaking on behalf of Chris Ching.
The vast majority of App users absolutely loath ads. It’s not a good user experience when ads pop up randomly and in any case the income from ads is minuscule unless you have thousands of users. If anything, the model you should choose is maybe a subscription but your App would want to be worth that subscription otherwise users will not be interested.
Fair enough. I can totally understand your opinion but I think it really depends on the ad itself.
When I think about the SuperBowl and their ads within the half time. They are often funny and really catching people compared to “standard” ads. And as I’m working on a football app, I thought about integrating those half-time ads.
The ads on TV are tailored to the program since they are generally sponsors or associated with sponsors. Unfortunately you don’t get to choose what ads are shown on your App. That’s the domain of partners with Apple. They will throw up ads for other Apps or whatever other advertisements that their advertisers pay for. A classic example is the ads that are shown on FlightRadar24. If you don’t have a subscription you are bombarded with ads for Games or other Apps on the Apple platform.
