Trying to start a project after downloading Xcode 12 and noticed some of my icons are missing compared to Chris’s videos. How do I obtain the others? For example single view app?

yeah , you choose App as you highlighted and go ahead with xcode 12.
Oh, so app is the single view for the new version. Okay, was just confused watching Chris tutorials.

Some of the templates that were available in previous versions of Xcode are no longer available which is a bit disappointing in my view. For example the Tab App template is no longer available to name but one. Others have been renamed as you have discovered. Single View App is now App.
I’m guessing that is largely because Apple is moving towards universal iOS and Mac Applications.
