I recently moved several Xcode projects to a thumb drive for disk clean up purposes. I can open these projects from the tumblebug drive with Xcode but when I try to modify I get a message that Xcode cannot unlock the file for editing. I checked the get info screen for the project folder and it doesn’t show as locked. The drive itself shows permissions as custom. is there a way to run and edit Xcode projects that are on eternal media? I’m borrowing a friends Mac for testing and don’t want to junk up their hard drive.
hello, you might need to temporarily move your file to the user’s hard drive as maybe the antivirus software is preventing execution of files from external media
